Blue Monkey Skull Fishing Fly

The Monkey fly pattern has climbed straight to the top of the salmon angling tree as dare you leave home with out one. It is a Scandinavian Sunray Shadow styled fly but with a lot more presence in the water. The long wing on this fly dances through pools and runs with devastating results. Tied on an Aluminium a tube the Monkey is a catcher in the big streams or long glides in warmer conditions and will fish right through the season. Great fly and will produce fantastic sport. When to use: Low water Spring waters and Summer.
