Rules and regulation for trout fishing

This permit is issued on the condition that he / she observes the rules of the association as they apply to its fishing waters.

FLY FISHING FOR TROUT ONLY FROM BOATS.

All fish under 9′ must be returned

No Trolling from boats

No Lighting of fires or camping

The holder of this permit must produce it on demand to either the association servants or another permit holder

NO LITTER (Take it home)

Anglers tackle subject to inspection by authorized persons

This permit is not transferable.

Permit holders found breaking the above conditions will have their permits withdrawn


 

Rules and regulations for coarse fishing

This permit is issued on the condition that he / she observes the rules of the association as they apply to its fishing waters.

No lighting of fires or camping

NO LITTER (Take it home)

Fishing in daylight hours only,fishing is not permitted before dawn or one hour from sunset.

Anglers tackle subject to inspection by authorised persons

2 Rods maximum per person for pike.

Pike fishing is to be carried out in compliance with the Code of conduct of the Pike Anglers Alliance for Scotland and National Angling Legislation.

No live bait except maggot and worm allowed.
1) Permits are issued for both Pike and Trout, this must be identified on permit.

2) Name and date recorded on permit.

3) £60.00 cost of season permit and must be written on permit

4) The permits cover the fishing of the loch Ard waters and immediate tributaries. Parking for access to be at recognised public and forestry commission parking places.

5) Maximum of 2 rods for Pike fishing and must comply with the code of conduct of the Pike Anglers Alliance for Scotland. No live bait except maggots and worms.

6) Anglers tackle subject to inspection by authorised persons.

This permit is not transferable.
